In 2018, EPA released a draft policy to reduce animal testing for skin sensitization. The Agency is reviewing data submitted by companies from 2015-2020 as well as the public comments received on the policy. This activity is ongoing and reflects EPA’s commitment to using NAMs for decision making in the TSCA program, when available and possible.
